The terms that govern your use of Tricitech.
These Terms of Service and Terms of Sale (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tricitech website and your purchases. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. They apply in addition to our Warranty, Shipping and Returns Policies.

1. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using the Tricitech website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or place an order.
2. Definitions
"Tricitech" or "we" means Tricitech Systems Inc., a corporation having its head office in Montréal, Québec. "You" or "customer" means the person who browses the website or places an order. "Products" means the electronic goods offered for sale on the website.
3. Eligibility and capacity
You must be at least the age of majority in your province of residence (18 in Québec) and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you act on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
4. Products, pricing and availability
We strive to display accurate descriptions, images, specifications and prices. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and taxes are calculated at checkout where required. Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to correct any error in price, description or availability, and to refuse or cancel any order in case of such an error, with a full refund of any amount already charged.
5. Orders and right of cancellation
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We accept the offer by sending you an order confirmation. Under the Consumer Protection Act (Québec) and the regulations applicable to distance and internet contracts, you may cancel an order placed by internet within two (2) days of receiving the confirmation, except for products that are customized or that cannot reasonably be returned. Once an order is dispatched, cancellations and post-delivery returns are governed by our Returns Policy (defect exchanges, no refunds).
6. Payment
Payment is required in full at the time of order. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. We do not store your full credit or debit card numbers; they are processed by our certified payment provider in compliance with applicable security standards (PCI-DSS).
7. Shipping
Delivery terms, timeframes and coverage are governed by our Shipping Policy. We ship across Canada; worldwide shipping is available on request.
8. Returns, exchanges and refunds
We do not issue refunds after a sale is completed. Products that malfunction due to a manufacturer defect may be exchanged in accordance with our Warranty Policy and Returns Policy. For manufacturer defects, Tricitech covers the cost of return shipping and ships a replacement at no charge.
9. Legal warranties
In addition to our one-year limited warranty, products benefit from the legal warranties provided by the Consumer Protection Act (Québec) and the Civil Code of Québec, which guarantee that the goods are durable in normal use for a reasonable length of time. Nothing in these Terms restricts these legal warranties.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the website — including the Tricitech name, logo, text, graphics, design and software — is the property of Tricitech or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit it without our prior written permission.
11. User conduct
You agree not to misuse the website, to attempt to disrupt it, to submit false or fraudulent information, to use another person's information without authorization, or to infringe the rights of any third party.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tricitech shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the use of the website or the products. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act (Québec), the Civil Code of Québec or other mandatory law.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.
14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your order shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the District of Montréal, Province of Québec, Canada. The mandatory consumer protection provisions of Québec apply regardless of your location within the province.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version. Your continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
